We are seeking an experienced tax professional to join our thriving tax and consulting practice.

Brush Bernard is a highly respected, forward thinking firm located in Healdsburg,

You will work directly with the partners to provide tax, consulting, and accounting services to our wide range of clients. We actively support your professional growth. We encourage team members to specialize in areas or topics of personal interest, providing the time and resources to help you achieve your professional objectives.

Your efforts are valued. As a result of the relaxed and positive work environment, our employees tend to stay with us long term and develop close relationship with our clients. Our firm is actively expanding, with plans on the drawing board for a second office.  We are looking for people interested in building a career with our team, particularly those who have partner aspirations.

Our group currently numbers 10 in all. We enjoy working together and can achieve high-quality results because of our relationships and office environment. Attire is casual and we work hard to provide all the amenities that our employees need. Each team member matters to us and is given space to contribute to the direction of the firm. We also take the concept of work-life balance seriously. Many of our employees have kids and, as such, we make it possible to volunteer in the classroom, be available for school sports or performances, or just to pop home for a service appointment.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience working with individual and entity

tax returns.

Accounting proficiency: Strong accounting skills are a plus. You will work with clients from the initial receipt of their information through the completion of the tax return. Being able to analyze and adjust the client’s G/L is important for both consulting and tax advisory services.

Status: Full time, however we are open to permanent part time depending on the situation
