Fairgrounds Maintenance Workers complete a variety of unskilled and semiskilled light and heavy tasks in order to prepare and maintain the buildings and grounds for upcoming events. Fairgrounds Maintenance Workers must be willing to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to dependability and safety
  • Knowledge of working dirt arenas for various events
  • Experience safely operating various pieces of heavy and other equipment, such as:
    • Forklift
    • Tractor with attachments
    • Skip loader
    • High lift
    • Scissor lift
    • Pressure washer
