Graton Economic Development Authority operating Graton Resort and Casino is looking for housekeeping attendants and janitors at its Rohnert Park, CA location.
Housekeeping Attendant Position Summary
Essential Functions:
1. Sign for keys and radios as needed.
2. Complete daily assignment of guest rooms within allotted time, and perform general cleaning as assigned.
3. Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times.
4. Stock and maintain room attendant cart in a neat and presentable manner. Stock linen rooms on the hotel floors and hotel tower storage areas. Separating all dirty linen as required and assigned by a supervisor or the Executive Housekeeper.
5. Handle all guest room trash and recycling process.
6. Handle clean glass deliveries to the floor.
7. Check daily for areas needing specific attention, identify any potential hazards, and report to Supervisor, such as, high dusting and deep cleaning projects.
8. Maintain the cleanliness of all areas assigned, including but not limited to hallway, windows, mirrors, outside pool area and assigned offices.
9. Check elevators and tracks to ensure cleanliness.
10. Clean and mop all assigned areas, and straighten shelves as required.
11. Inspect equipment, including but not limited to cribs and roll-a-ways, and report items in need of repair.
12. Understand and comply with all Company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
13. Have knowledge of MSDS booklet location for your area.
14. Assist with monthly linen, products, and office inventory.
15. Other tasks and duties as assigned by a Supervisor or the Executive Housekeeper.
1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Ability to ensure a safe work environment.
3. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
4. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow Team Members.
5. Ability to use Pan Broom, Vacuum, Scrubber, Carpet Extractor, and other mechanical or electrical equipment as needed.
6. Ability to gain general knowledge of all aspects of Housekeeping Department.
Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to climb, bend, reach a height of 6 feet, walk, and stand for duration of shift. Push, pull and maneuver a cart weighing up to 60 pounds.
2. Ability to tolerate chemicals, cleansers, and solvents.
3. Ability to communicate by telephone, radio and pager.
4. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
5. Manual dexterity to perform job functions.
Maintain cleanliness of casino and public areas. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions:

2. Maintain cleanliness of assigned area as instructed.
3. Operate tools and equipment as trained.
4. Clean and polish machines from base to top.
5. Clean biohazard spills and clean up contaminated areas generally. Pick up and remove trash and broken glass.
6. Clean walls, ceilings, and vents as required using PPE as trained.
7. Move furniture, rearrange, and relocate furniture and equipment.
8. Empty Trash receptacles in assigned areas.
9. Be familiar with OSHA safety codes regarding chemicals and electrical equipment used within the department.
10. Have knowledge of MSDS booklet location for your area.
11. Perform other job related duties as assigned.

4. Interact with others in a friendly, positive, and courteous manner.
5. Must be at least 21 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to climb stairs and walk for duration of shift.
2. Ability to tolerate chemicals, cleansers, and solvents.
3. Ability to bend, stoop and reach to a height of 6 feet.
4. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
5. Ability to hear and communicate via telephone and radio.
6. Ability to push, pull, transport and maneuver item weighing up to 50 pounds.
7. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
