CPA wanted for local Property Management Firm in Novato, CA. The Ideal candidate will have the desire and ability to move upward in the company and lead the accounting department for the next 15 years as existing employees retire. Candidates should have 5 to 10 years of accounting experience with QuickBooks and must be proficient in using Excel. Responsibilities include recording and oversight of the transactions between the properties and management company, recording and oversight of the transactions between the properties and the Owners’ Trusts, maintaining records for the Owners charitable donations, entering journal entries to record revenues from property management software, reconciling intercompany transactions, and preparation of reports and schedules to forward to Tax Accountants for year-end tax preparation. Must be detail oriented and able to work independently as well as coordinate with other team members when needed. Salary range $80,000 to $125,000.
