About CSP

CSP is a Behavioral Management Day Program for adults with developmental disabilities in Santa Rosa. Each community trainer works with 3 clients. You use your own vehicle to pick clients up and take them to access community sites for social and recreational activities.

The program curriculum occurs entirely in the community. We have no building. CSP provides petty cash for a morning snack and morning planning at a local cafe or bagel shop. The community trainer helps the clients plan their day and helps them access their planned activities. Activities may include shopping, bowling, arcade games, library, thrift stores, park outings, movies, doctor appointments, etc. CSP also provides petty cash for a client reward system that each client can use to purchase desired goods in the community.

CSP is a relationship based program that provides a positive atmosphere for clients to pursue the activities of their choice, helping them enjoy their day and get along with others.

During Covid-19, community trainers are providing Alternate and Remote Services by making daily phone calls to clients and making arrangements to deliver supplies and groceries. The community trainer also provides phone communications to clients for wellness checks and socialization.
